Navy Test-fires Anti-ship Missile in Bay of Bengal
Visakhapatnam: The Indian Navy, in association with DRDO, successfully undertook guided flight trials of the first indigenously developed Naval Anti-Ship Missile from Seaking 42B helicopter in the Bay of Bengal under the Eastern Naval Command on Tuesday.
This firing is a significant step towards achieving self-reliance in niche missile technology, including seeker and guidance technologies, according to a release issued by Eastern Naval Command on Tuesday.
