South Central railway general manager Arun Kumar Jain giving awards on 68th Railway Week Celebrations at Rail Nilayam Auditorium, Secunderabad (DC)
Hyderabad: South Central Railway (SCR) presented 77 Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskars to staff and 36 performance efficiency shields to divisions and departments, while celebrating the 68th Railway Week celebrations on Friday. SCR General Manager Arun Kumar Jain, speaking at the event highlighted the milestones that the zone had achieved.
He said that SCR expanded its rail network by 383.85 km providing first-time connectivity to several areas. It had electrified a record 1,017 route km, the highest in SCR's history. The zone has also taken steps to enhance capacity and improve speed.
