VIJAYAWADA: YSRC MP V. Vijay Sai Reddy claimed on Saturday that he would post the same content that Inturi Ravi Kiran had posted on his facebook page, and challenged AP police to take action against him. He strongly objected to the police entering the YSRC social media cell, and even entered into an argument with the cops. The YSRC parliamentarian said the government was trying to silence the voices on the social media, with a view to hiding their failures.
Mr Reddy questioned the police as to whether they were in a position to act in the same way on the TD leaders and activists who have posted derogatory content on the social media against Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and his family members. He called up the Assembly secretary K. Satyanarayana when the police tried to explain to him that they were acting as per a complaint received from Satyana-rayana. He told the Assembly secretary too that he would post the same “objectionable” content from his facebook account. He dared Satyanarayana to lodge a complaint against him and said he will challenge it in court of law.
