Visakhapatnam: The ‘Science Express’ with artifacts and laboratory has become a hit among people from all walks of life. The express will end its tour at Kottavalasa on May 23. The exhibition witnessed as many as 9,400 visitors on Monday. To inspire students the Centre for Intellectual Awareness (CIA) conducted an elocution competition with the theme, “Adaptation to climate change is the key to survival” for children who visited the Science Express.
Sharing their experience, J.Charan (class 6), U. Kartikeya (class 8) and Ramya, and S. Viswanath pursuing graduation said participating in the competition based on exhibits on display in the train were educative. CIA Director Y. Raman explained about how climate change can be combated through mitigation and adaptation.
