40 fall ill in AP's Orvakal village
Water and food collected from the village for analysis
KURNOOL: About 40 people of Orvakal village fell ill on Thursday with symptoms, such as vomiting, fever and diarrhoea. They were shifted to the local primary health centre.
Kurnool revenue divisional officer (RDO) Hari Prasad visited the village to investigate the cause of illness.
Prasad said samples of water and food have been collected from the village for analysis to identify the root cause of the illness.
Former legislator from Panyam constituency G. Charita Reddy visited the health centre to inquire about the affected villagers. Doctors informed her that the condition of all those affected is stable.
