Hyderabad: The parents of the four-year-old girl who was sexually abused by the driver of her school's principal met the priest of Chilkur Balaji temple C.S. Rangarajan. Rangarajan had invited the parents to pray to Lord Balaji at the temple.
A maha pradakshinam was performed at the temple, and ‘Jatayu raksha’ threads tied to their wrists for protection and courage. The priest said those who treat women as an object of entertainment must be branded as ‘rapasura’ and hacked or hanged. He said that most soft-hearted people shared his opinion. The parents were in tears and the priest reassured them that God would punish the guilty.
Meanwhile parents of students of the school in Banjara Hills were to meet at KBR park main gate at 10 am on Sunday to discuss the cancellation of the school’s recognition.
