Kichuguththi Maramma temple
Mysure: With the death of a 45 year-old daily wager, Rangan, the toll of devotees who consumed prasada at Kichuguththi Maramma temple in Sulawadi, Chamarajnagar district, increased to 17 on Saturday.
A daily wage worker hailing from Doreswamy Medu of Chamarajnagar district, Rangan succumbed at Suyog hospital on Saturday afternoon. His body was later shifted mortuary of Mysuru Medical College and Research Institute (MMCRI) for autopsy. His wife Eeshwari and younger daughter Anu, who too had consumed prasada, are being treated at Narayana Hrudayala, here.
