Warm welcome to Vande Bharat train at Kurnool railway station
Kurnool: The Kacheguda-Yesvantpur Vande Bharat Express received a warm welcome at Kurnool railway station on Sunday. The train, originating from Kacheguda, arrived at Kurnool city railway station around 4.05 pm and departed after a 15-minute halt. Kurnool MP Dr S. Sanjiv Kumar, Zilla Parishad chairman Y. Papi Reddy, Kurnool Mayor B.Y. Ramaiah, Kurnool MLA Dr M.A. Hafeez Khan, and railway officials were present at the event.
This inaugural special train comprises eight coaches, including seven AC chair cars and one executive chair car, with a total passenger capacity of 530. The service will operate six days a week, excluding Wednesdays, as per railway officials.
