Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the inaugural ceremony of the men’s Hockey World Cup, music maestro A.R. Rahman met Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in Bhubaneswar on Friday and took a selfie with him.
Mr Rahman will be performing live during the inaugural ceremony at Kalinga Stadium on November 27 and also at a concert at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on November 28.
“I am delighted that A.R. Rahman visited Odisha and the fans can watch him performing live at Cuttack and Bhubaneswar,” said CM Mr Patnaik.
Rahman also released the hockey sports anthem ‘Jai Hind Hind’ in presence of CM Naveen Patnaik.
