Khammam: 8 women aspirants rock poll campaign

Fight their male couterparts with limited resources.

Khammam: The women candidates, who are contesting in Khammam and Bhadradri-Kothagudem districts, are fighting spiritedly though they have limited financial sources as compared to their male counterparts there.

Though many of them are not frontrunners, they may embarrass the male candidates in their respective segments by giving them a run for their money.
Eight women in six Assembly segments are giving a good fight to the male candidates in their respective segments.

Banothu Haripriya, Congress candidate from Yellandu is a post graduate and she is making efforts to win the hearts of the people in the segment. Her oratory skills in Telugu, English and Lambada languages are her major plus points. She is targeting the welfare schemes of TRS government and exposing the lapses in it.

Mokalla Nagasravanthi, BJP, is also vying for win from the same constituency and she is meeting women and seeking their support. Reshma Rathore, BJP candidate from Wyra and a film actor, is giving a tough time to the rival candidates in the segment.

She said, “The hygiene kit scheme for the girls are being implemented with the funds of the Central government and not with the state government funds.” Banothu Vijaya, CPI candidate from Wyra, is also working hard to dent the votes of TRS candidate B Madanlal. She is contesting from Wyra as Prajakutami candidate.

Batula Hymavathi, CPI-M candidate from Palair, is an impeccable leader in the party and she is exposing the misdeeds of state and Central governments during her campaign.

She is facing stalwarts like TRS candidate Tummala Nageswara Rao and Congress candidate K. Upender Reddy. Meanwhile Uppala Sarada is campaigning with full gusto in Khammam Assembly segment as a BJP candidate. The presence of Sarada in Khammam is a problem for both the Telugu Desam and TRS candidates Nama and Puvvada Ajay.

If she obtains more votes, it means that she has bagged impressive anti-incumbency votes.

This may tilt the winning chances of the TD candidate. From the Vysya community, Sarada is relying more on their votes. Macharla Bharathi, CPI-M candidate from Sattupalli is explaining the importance of winning of BLF candidates in the State. Kunja Satyavathi, BJP candidate, is campaigning with jet speed in Bhadrachalam. Again, this is one candidate whose oratory skills are excellent.
