Anantapur: Kadapa MP Y.S. Avinash Reddy attended the Praja Darbar at the Chief Minister’s camp office in Pulivendula in YSR Kadapa district on Tuesday.
The MP arrived from Hyderabad to Pulivendula in the afternoon and met party leaders and cadres prior to attending the event. This is a weekly programme at the Chief Minister’s camp office, meant exclusively for the people of Pulivendula Assembly segment and Kadapa district people to air their grievances.
Avinash Reddy is incharge of Pulivendula Assembly segment and attends to the party affairs as also grievances of Pulivendula.
Avinash Reddy was in Hyderabad soon after the arrest of his father Y.S. Bhaskar Reddy and reporting to the CBI there as and when he gets a summons. He was also helping his defence counsel in Delhi and Hyderabad vis-a-vis the petitions related to the central agency’s investigations.
The Telangana High Court posted the pending petition of Avinash Reddy’s counsel for the MP’s anticipatory bail plea for hearing on Wednesday. The SC reacted strongly to the High Court directions to the CBI for submission of the printed form of the questionnaire to Avinash Reddy.
The TS High Court had directed CBI not to arrest Avinash till April 25 but the petition was posted to April 26 for further hearing.
A large number of YSRC leaders and cadres were present at the CM’s camp office in Pulivendula. Deputy chief minister Amzad Bhasha also held discussions with the MP.
Meanwhile, BJP leader Adinarayana Reddy said, “All facts will come out during the CBI investigation and those involved in the Viveka murder case will face the consequences.” Another BJP leader Ramesh Naidu said the party would take up the campaign of ‘Jagan Hatao, AP Bachavo’ across the state.
