Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh government will soon introduce digital and virtual classrooms in 4,000 government and municipal schools across the state to bring a revolution in the education system and help the students to acquire knowledge, said Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
He launched the Vidyavani digital classrooms at 97-year-old CVR Municipal High School here on Monday and said that Vidyavani digital classrooms programme will provide best combination of teachers and best knowledge to the students.
He said the digital classroom programme will provide facility of interactive e-books reading material, classroom CIT material, practice quiz, question papers pattern.
Fibernet facility was provided to social welfare residential schools and with digital classroom system its is easy to monitor the attendance of both teachers and students, Mr. Chandrababu Naidu said.
He interacted with the schoolchildren of various municipal schools in the city after inaugurating the digital classroom programme and motivated students to make use of the latest technology in their schools.
