Hyderabad: The special investigation team (SIT) of the Hyderabad police said that it is investigating the TSPSC question paper leakage scam on Thursday arrested three toppers in the assistant engineer exam, taking the total to 42.
The arrested were identified as Bharath Naik from Uppal, Pasikanti Rohith Kumar and Gade Sai Madhu. They had got the question paper from another accused, Pula Ravi Kishore, a junior assistant working in Nalgonda who is under arrest.
The SIT said that Kishore had given the paper to more persons and the police was trying to find them.
The SIT said that Bharath Kishore Rs 1 lakh for the question, out of a Rs 3-lakh deal. The other two candidates had promised to pay the amount later. The scam came to light before they could pay him.
