Visakhapatnam: IIM Visakhapatnam is back with its flagship event ‘Conflux 2018’, a business conclave that will host many industry leaders for a discussion on innovation and business in emerging markets. The event will be held on October 28 at Hotel Green Park in Vizag city.
The topic ‘Innovation Redefining Business in Emerging Markets’ was chosen owing to the contemporary nature of changing trends in various businesses due to technological changes.
The institute wants to create awareness among the student community, future business leaders and industry personnel about the changing trends in business with the use of innovation.
The event shall comprise six speakers to speak on their respective domain related topics, followed by a new innovative series “Thought Leadership Series”.
The Speakers for this conclave include Rachit Batham – Head-Blockchain CoE, Tech Mahindra; Gaurav Kumar – senior vice president-BDTS, Yes Bank; Kedar Nigavekar – senior vice president – Consulting and Strategy, Bioquest Solutions Pvt Ltd.; Gaurav Sangtani – vice president, Goldman Sachs; Amritraj Thakur – senior vice president-Planning, Ogilvy and Sunay Bhasin – chief marketing officer, MTR Foods.
They would discuss several topics ranging from “Role of Blockchain in Emerging Markets” to “Ways to succeed in Marketing.”
The event will also witness a new “Thought Leadership Series.” The speakers for this event include Ashutosh Chadha- group director, government affairs and public policy- Microsoft India; Ghanashyam Hegde-director and general counsel, Procter and Gamble. The panel discussion will be moderated by Harshita Lalchand- area director, Toastmasters Club, Vizag.
