Anantapur: The controversy between the Kadapa police and BJP leader CM Ramesh over the arrest of TD leader BTech Ravi is continuing. Condemning his allegations against circle inspector Ashok Reddy that police had tried to kill Ravi, the Kadapa police announced that legal notices would be sent to Ramesh for making the false statement.
On Saturday, CM Ramesh challenged the police to take oath at any temple of god denying the plot to abduct and eliminate the TD leader. “I am not blaming the entire police department but speaking facts with evidence against the inspector who was acting at the behest of YSRC leaders”, he said.
The police higher-ups failed to take action against the inspector who announced sending a legal notice to the TD leader, he alleged, adding that he was ready to answer to any legal notice.
