YSRC suspects TD role behind 71 voters under one house number
Nellore: On Tuesday, even as YSRC was getting ready to complain to the Election Commission that the 71 voters enrolled from one house bearing one door number in polling station number 164 of Nellore assembly segment (117) were fake, the voters’ list was updated and 63 voters were deleted by evening.
YSRC provided photostat copies of the voters’ list containing 71 names bearing door number 4-2-75 in NDR Layout, Krishna Mandiram area in Nellore segment to the media and the same list was found in the online electoral rolls on Tuesday afternoon. However the names of 63 voters disappeared by evening from the list. YSRC legislator Dr Anilkumar Yadav said “We took the issue to the notice of civic body authorities and they have removed the names now.” Suspecting the role of TD behind the enrolling of voters from one home, Dr Anilkumar said that TD men were also collecting Aadhaar card numbers of voters during poll surveys probably to delete the names of those not voting for them. with the help of the officials concerned.
