KTR going abroad to stash his wealth: Dharmapuri
Hyderabad: BJP MP Dharmapuri Arvind demanded ₹ 50,000 compensation for farmers towards crop damages. Untimely rains had damaged paddy, maize and other crops in north Telangana districts, he said.
Arvind blasted ministers K.T. Rama Rao and V. Prashanth Reddy. He alleged that Rama Rao was visiting foreign countries only to deposit his ill-gotten wealth. It is unfortunate that Prashanth Reddy had to bow before Chandrashekar Rao for getting CMRF cheques.
Speaking to reporters here on Thursday, Arvind criticised BRS leaders for ignoring the woes of farmers. Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao preferred to attend political meetings in Maharashtra but failed to release compensation to farmers in the state, he alleged.
He said that Governor Tamilisai Soundarajan should intervene in the crop damages issue and render justice for the farmers, who should be paid ₹ 50,000 compensation for each acre of crop damages, he said.
