Mysuru: Activists of Karnataka Sena Pade, a pro-Kannada organisation, staged a protest against the formation of the Cauvery Water Management Board in front of Gandhi statue here on Tuesday. The JD(S)-Congress coalition government has already called an all-party meeting to discuss the Centre's decision to form the board. Karnataka Sena Pade state head, Tejesh Lokesh Gowda said, “If the board starts functioning, we may have to struggle for every drop of water from KRS, Kabini, Hemavathi and Harangi reservoirs in the Cauvery basin.” He demanded that the newly constituted board and the appointment of its members should be rescinded.
