Hyderabad: 30 CBIT students suspended over stir
Hyderabad: Thirty students of the Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT) have been punished in the name of discipline from the second and third years of Bachelor of Technology (BTech) and Bachelor of Engineering (BE).
Based on the complaints of the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college and after verifying the information, the college has suspended 12 students for 16 days, from August 27 to September 11. The college has asked the parents and students to give an explanation to the enquiry committee on September 10 and 11 and also to give reasons why they should not be suspended for the entire semester.
Another group of 14 students were also suspended. According to the management, they were actively supporting and moving around the campus of CBIT in support of the 12 suspended students. The students were suspended for a period of 11 days, from August 27 to September 6.
