Minister Prakash Patil Inspects Hospitals, Emphasises Quality Care and Maintenance

Dr. Patil instructed the authorities to ensure proper maintenance of the building

Gada: Minister for Medical Education Dr Sharan Prakash Patil visited Dundappa Manvi Women and Child Hospital and the district hospital in Gadag on Sunday.
At the Dundappa Manvi Women and Children's Hospital, Dr. Patil assessed the medical treatments provided to women and pediatric patients.

The Minister emphasized on maintaining sanitation within the hospital premises, asserting its paramount importance. Addressing the medical personnel, he advocated for punctuality and the delivery of superior medical care to the patients, with a specific focus on women and children.

Dr. Patil then proceeded to the district hospital, where he inspected various inpatient departments.

In a clear message to the doctors and the staff, he stressed the importance of compassionate care and treating all patients with courtesy.

The Minister highlighted the necessity of delivering quality healthcare without subjecting patients to unnecessary inconveniences, aiming to provide a seamless healthcare experience.

The recently constructed 450-bed building at the district hospital garnered the Minister's attention. Dr. Patil reassured the public that the hospital would offer comprehensive medical services and pledged complete support for the facility.

He also instructed the authorities to ensure proper maintenance of the building, expressing the need for administrative medical officers to take ownership of this responsibility.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Annapurna, GIMS Director Dr. Basavaraj Bommanahalli, District Surgeon Karigowda and other officials were present.
