Hyderabad: The government appointed principal chief conservator of forests Mohan Chandra Pargaien as the next chief wildlife warden. Pargaien, currently PCCF, Forest Conservation Act, will be holding full additional charge of the position from November 1. He replaces Lokesh Jayaswal, who is set to retire at the end of this month.
The government placed Dr C. Suvarna, PCCF, Haritha Haram, in full additional charge of compensatory afforestation, while S. Shantaram, a deputy conservator of forests, will hold full additional charge as field director of Kawal tiger Reserve.
All these appointments will come into force from November 1 and final orders are expected to be issued after the completion of the Assembly election process.
