Global-level scientists to visit Sathya Sai district
Anantapur: A team of global-level agriculture scientists will undertake a two-day visit of Sathya Sai districts and interact with farmers involved in natural farming without using any pesticides or fertilisers.
A press note released by Rythu Sadhikara Samstha of Vijayawada said the experts will arrive at Bengaluru airport on November 27 and visit Chalivendula village in Hindupur Rural mandal and Kothapalli village in Penukonda mandal of Sathya Sai district. Farmers of the area are using organic manure, along with locally produced jeevamrutham and beejamrutham. They are making more money than farmers using chemical pesticides and fertilisers.
The scientists will visit A grade farms and make a comparative of farms using organic fertilisers and those using chemical fertilisers and pesticides. The team will interact with the farmers about their success and also quality and quantity in agriculture produced in horticulture and agriculture.
On November 28, the global team will visit farms in Gantapuram village of Bathalapalli mandal and observe farmers preparing seeds and natural fertilisers and pesticides.
