Uniform development is Congress priority
Hyderabad: Congress candidate from Nampally constituency, Feroz Khan, asserted that he would concentrate on uniform development of the constituency and eradication of corrupt practices.
Addressing a group of youths, Feroz Khan said he would strengthen the education and health sectors on a priority basis and would try to pool maximum funds from the government to provide civic amenities and would improve the road network.
Though Nampally is located in the heart of City, many areas of this constituency are not getting proper water supply. Khan said he entered into politics with a motto to serve the people and had no intention to gain wealth. “I have been serving the people on humanitarian grounds. You will realize changes within 100 days of the elections,” he said.
He promised that if he failed to resolve the problems of the local people, then he would not seek votes for his party in the Lok Sabha elections and never contest elections again. He promised to establish government schools and mohalla clinics.
He said many youths were addicted to drugs and there was a need to curb this menace because this ruined many families in the constituency.
