Ram Nath Kovind praises real time governance
GUNTUR: President Ram Nath Kovind has advised Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to give a presentation at the national level on Real Time Governance (RTG) for the benefit of all the states. Mr Naidu had given a PowerPoint presentation of RTG to Mr Kovind at the Secretariat at Velagapudi on Wednesday.
Impressed with the RTG module, Mr Kovind said that this was the best project to serve the public and would be useful to other states of India too. He said that AP’s Fiber Grid would help other states tremendously and suggested that Mr Naidu should give a presentation at the national level.
Mr Naidu said that the AP Government was rendering good service to the public through the Real Time Governance initiative. He said that his government had introduced paperless system and his all Cabinet members were using tablets during Cabinet meetings. He said that AP had completed AP Fiber Net project in 8 months at a minimum cost of Rs 333 crore.
