Kamareddy: Babulgoan village in Jukkal Assembly constituency has been transferred back from Sangareddy district to Kamareddy district. Babulgoan is located on the border of Telangana and Karnataka states.
During the reorganisation of districts, the village had gone to Sangareddy district.
However, Babulgoan villagers wanted that their village be restored to Kamareddy district. Following the initiative taken by Jukkal MLA Hanumanth Shinde, the state government has issued orders restoring Babulgoan to Kamareddy district.
