Rains Hit Movement of Traffic in City

Hyderabad: Hyderabad received spells of rain Thursday evening, which led to traffic problems. Meanwhile, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), which sounded a yellow alert, thunderstorms, accompanied by lightning, are very likely to occur at isolated places in Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajigiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy and Ranga Reddy districts on Friday.

The director of enforcement, vigilance and disaster management, GHMC, in a tweet message has urged people not to come out of their homes except for urgent matters. DRF assistance in case of any emergency can be had on 040-2955-5500, according to a release from the civic body.
