Appointment letters handed out at national rozgar mela
Vijayawada: Narendra A. Patil, divisional railway manager of Vijayawada, urged the 209 new recruits who received their appointment letters at the National Rozgar Mela event on Saturday to work with passion, dedication, and service as their motto. He reminded them that with power comes a lot of responsibility.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the National Rozgar Mela via video conferencing, connecting with 37 places across the country. In his address, the Prime Minister noted that the journey of Rozgar Melas has reached an important milestone, with lakhs of youths receiving appointment letters for government jobs in various Rozgar Melas in the centre and NDA-ruled states and union territories since they started in October of last year.
On this day, more than 50,000 youths received government jobs. The Prime Minister congratulated the appointees and their families.
In Vijayawada, Narendra Patil conveyed his hearty congratulations to the selected candidates and advised them to make good use of the iGOT e-courses learning module in the Karmayogi portal to perform efficiently and serve the citizens in a better way.
He expressed immense happiness and said that it's a real pleasure to see these youngsters achieving their dream of government jobs and is hopeful that they shall all excel in their new assignments with flying colors.
After the Prime Minister's address, Malladi Vishnu, MLA of Vijayawada Central, Narendra Patil, Ravindra Babu Zonal Manager of UBI, Syed Ansari, Assistant Director of the Department of Posts, Dr. Rajasekhar Mohan, Faculty Incharge of Recruitment at AIIMS, Mangalagiri, Dr. E. V. Shiva Rama Krishna, Sr. DFM, and M. Bala Muralidhar, Sr. DPO handed over appointment letters to candidates selected in Banks, Postal Department, Medical Services, and Railways at the Divisional Auditorium, Vijayawada.
