Vijayawada: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is going to join the AgriGold victims strike. He will be meeting the Agri-Gold victims at Vijayawada on Thursday. The victims association has requested Pawan Kalyan to raise his voice in support of their cause on numerous occasions. He is going to interact with the victims at Tummalapalli Kalaksetram. The AgriGold issue has stalled the Assembly for two days with the ruling and the opposition parties trading challenges against each other.
The government has announced relief measures to the families of those who have committed suicide and assured that it has left no stone unturned to do justice to the victims. However, the opposition YSRC has levelled charges on involvement of the TD leaders in the sale of AgriGold assets. Now with the entry of Pawan Kalyan, the victims are hopeful that their issues will be addressed by the government as in the case of Uddanam kidney victims, capital farmers and weavers’ issues.
