PM Modi tweets reveal BJP ire on Chandrababu Naidu for leaving NDA

Mr Modi tweeted separately in Telugu about his visits to Mahbubnagar in Telangana state and Kurnool in AP.

Hyderabad: The tweets of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday about his visits to Telangana state and Andhra Pradesh reveal how he differentiates between the ruling parties in the two states — the Telangana Rashtra Samiti and the Telugu Desam.

Mr Modi tweeted separately in Telugu about his visits to Mahbubnagar in Telangana state and Kurnool in AP. In his tweet on Kurnool visit, he made allegations against the TD government headed by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. But in the tweet on his Mahbubnagar visit, he did not comment on the administration of the TRS government headed by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.

Regarding his AP visit, the PM tweeted: “This evening, I will address a rally in Kurnool. The decline of NTR’s ideals, corruption at its peak in the state and the administration failure in all fields (is a concern). I seek the blessings of the people of Andhra Pradesh for fulfilling the dreams of youth.

Of his visit to TS, Mr Modi’s tweet was: “I am appealing to the people of Mahbubnagar and surrounding areas, and also from Hyderabad city, to participate in the public meeting, so that I can explain in detail various programmes and welfare schemes taken up by the NDA. I will explain why the people should elect the NDA back to power.”

Mr Chandrababu Naidu had been repeatedly criticising the Prime Minister for discriminating against AP and favouring Telangana state.

Mr Modi alleged that the Naidu government was corrupt and weak. He has sought the blessings of the people of AP for him and his party. But in his tweet about his visit to Telangana state, Mr Modi said he would explain why the people should elect the NDA government that his party heads back to power.

However, it is reported that in the public meeting Mr Modi, made some serious allegations against the TRS government and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
