Pawan Lashes Out at Jagan for Targeting Him Personally
Vijayawada: Lashing out at Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for targeting him at a personal level, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan warned him against further such attacks on him.
“I can expose you as I know more about your young days in Hyderabad and I speak out, it could malign your image,” Pawan Kalyan told the CM.
Addressing a public meeting at Bhimavaram in West Godavari at the culmination of his first leg AP tour on Friday, he asked the CM to “send someone” from his side to him so that he would share stories about his personal life in such a way that “blood would ooze from his ears after hearing it.”
Pawan Kalyan claimed that he was close to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other top BJP leaders in New Delhi and was getting intelligence reports on various issues relating to the Jagan Mohan Reddy government. “Though I got a call to meet the PM during his visit to Visakhapatnam and I was having a 32-page report on various issues in AP, I did not discuss these with Modi. This, for the reason that I wanted to fight for the issues of my state.”
He said the Union home department was having a report on crime in Kakinada and on ganja cultivation in AP. “I shall expose the role of the YSRC in these.”
Alleging misuse of funds of the Srivani trust, he cautioned TTD chairman Y.V. Subba Reddy that such acts that hurt the Lord would cause curse to his family members for generations.
The Jana Sena leader said ganja has become a “state crop” in AP and the axe (violence) a state weapon.
In a strong retort to a YSRC leader blaming Pawan Kalyan for allowing his supporters to ride on bikes after removing the silencers to cause more noise, Pawan Kalyan asked the YSRC leaders to rather fix silencers to their mouths.
Pawan Kalyan said while the CM was talking about class war at public meetings, the real meaning of it was that the rich we reon a looting spree against the poor. “I would no longer allow this to happen as I want to promote the interests of all sections of people,” he said.
“I would no more tolerate if the Jagan Mohan Reddy government gives 194 key posts to a particular social group, even though I am not against the interests of such a group. This is against the spirit of democracy which aims at providing equal opportunity for all, be it in education, employment or politics,” Pawan Kalyan added.
