BJP manifesto focuses on students, farmers
Hyderabad: The BJP announced Rs 3,116 unemployment allowance in its manifesto as it tried to outdo the Mahakutami. The BJP manifesto was released by party state president Dr K. Laxman and mentions distribution of cows during festivals.
The manifesto concentrates on farmers and students and offers farm loan waiver of Rs 2 lakh, free borewell or well along with a free pump sets, free distribution of the seedlings along with health insurance up to Rs 5 lakh for farmers and farm labour and bonus price along with MSP and special fund of Rs 10,000 crore for farmers.
For students, the BJP promised distribution laptops to degree students, free cycles to girls studying Classes VII to X and 50 per cent subsidy for girl degree students and above to purchase scootys. The BJP will work on the fee regulation authority to control the fee in corporate educational institutions.
The party promised to celebrate September 17, Hyderabad liberation Day, as a state festival. It promised a special corporation for BCs and allotment of Rs 5,000 crore every year
On the tech front, it offered a venture capital fund with Rs 5,000 crore for encouraging startups, I-T incubation centres in tier III cities and establishment of BPO in towns.
