Nellore: Union minister M. Venkaiah Naidu would inaugurate newly built general hospital and lay foundation stone for a FM station and an Indoor stadium during his visit to Nellore on Friday. BJP cadres have been making arrangements to take out a rally from Ayyappa temple to BJP office around 9.30 AM. According to a press release, the minister would take part in party workers meeting at the party office till 11 am.
After the meeting, he will proceed to AC Subba Reddy Government Medical College and lay foundation stones for FM Radio Station and Indoor Stadium before inaugurating Government General Hospital attached to the medical college and address the public. Thereafter the minister would inaugurate Health-cum-Knowledge centre and Advanced Computer Training Centre at Mup-pavarapu Foundation in Sardar Patel Nagar and medical screening for municipal school children at Swarna Bharat Trust.
He will witness a presentation by Janaagraha at Akshara Vidyalaya in Vekatachalam between 3 PM to 4 PM. Janaagraha is a Centre for Citizenship and Democracy is a non-profit organisation based in Bengaluru involved in bringing systematic change to improve quality of life in urban India. The minister would proceed to Swarna Bharat Trust after the programme around 4.30 pm to take part in Ugadi celebrations. Noted Scholar Garikapati Narasimha Rao will give a discourse on Hevalambi Nama Ugadi on the occasion.
