Mancherial: Minister for forest and environment Jogu Ramanna escaped unhurt when the iron wire attached to the lift he was in snapped and fell at high speed in Mancherial town on Monday. It is said that the incident took place as the lift was overloaded.
Mr Ramanna was attending an inauguration ceremony of a private hospital. He along with MLA Diwakar Rao entered the lift on the third floor and when they reached the first floor, the lift wire snapped and the lift landed on the ground. With the help of security staff, they came out unhurt.
