Revanth to inaugurate numaish tomorrow
Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will inaugurate the 83rd All India Industrial Exhibition (AIIE) at the Exhibition Grounds in Nampally on Monday, commemorating the mega event’s traditional launch on January 1.
IT minister D. Sridhar Babu, also president of the Exhibition Society that organises the event, told reporters here on Saturday that this year’s exhibition, which runs up to February 15, has attracted 1,500 exhibitors, including public sector undertakings, corporates and various government departments like police, fire and disaster management, electricity, GHMC, TSRTC, and HMRL.
Meanwhile, the Hyderabad Metro Rail has stepped up its services and will run extra trains with increased frequency while the RTC has launched special bus services.
The society is prioritising health services towards which it is setting up a medical check-up centre, while a foolproof safety plan is in place to ensure a secure and pleasant experience for all visitors.
The society is championing women’s welfare by extending support to DWCRA, MEPMA and Singareni Collieries under the women's welfare category. Prime stalls have been allotted to institutions like Sidbi and Telangana Industrialists’ Welfare Federation in order to boost small and medium entrepreneurs and MSMEs.
In the fiscal year 2022-23, the society contributed Rs 5.84 crore to the government's revenue through GST, trade license fees, property tax and utility charges, among others.
