6th Edition of Odisha Travel Bazaar to Accelerate Tourism Growth: Deputy CM Pravati Parida
State set to shine as a leading tourism destination; to be held from Feb 24-27

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha tourism department, in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), on Saturday announced that the 6th edition of the Odisha Travel Bazaar will be held from February 24 to 27, in Bhubaneswar. This flagship event aims to elevate Odisha's status as a premier global travel destination.
Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha, Pravati Parida, emphasised the pivotal role of the Odisha Travel Bazaar in promoting the state’s rich cultural heritage, pristine beaches, eco-tourism opportunities, and adventure tourism experiences. Speaking to the media, she highlighted the government's commitment to positioning Odisha as a leading choice for both domestic and international travelers.
Balwant Singh, commissioner-cum-secretary of the state tourism department, provided insights into the state’s strategic tourism policies and initiatives aimed at accelerating growth. He reiterated Odisha’s vision to emerge as a diverse tourism hub that caters to global standards.
The Sixth Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025 will be a premier buyer-seller meet, uniting national and international travel operators, destination management companies (DMCs), and local sellers. The event, hosted at Mayfair Convention and Swosti Premium Bhubaneswar, will showcase Odisha’s vast tourism offerings.
Continuing its upward trajectory, Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025 aims to enhance Odisha’s visibility as a preferred tourism destination for domestic and international tourists. The state’s hidden gems are increasingly being recognized as ideal choices for travelers seeking authentic and immersive experiences. From its stunning natural landscapes to its vibrant cultural heritage, Odisha offers a diverse range of attractions that leave visitors captivated.
The primary objective of Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025 is to aggressively promote Odisha’s tourist destinations to global and domestic markets. The event underscores the state government’s strategic efforts to position Odisha as a world-class tourism hub.
The event is expected to witness participation from approximately 100 domestic tour operators (DTOs) from over 30 cities across India and more than 30 foreign tour operators (FTOs) from 17 countries, including Australia, the UK, Germany, Belgium, South Africa, Spain, and Singapore.
A key highlight of the event will be the Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings, facilitating interactions between 70 sellers from Odisha’s tourism sector and the participating DTOs and FTOs. Additionally, familiarization trips to key destinations, including Bhitarkanika, Raghurajpur, Puri-Konark, and the Diamond Triangle, have been organized to offer firsthand experiences of Odisha’s unique attractions. Over 3,000 pre-scheduled meetings are planned, fostering meaningful business connections.
Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025 will also feature Business-to-Government (B2G) meetings and an adventure tourism workshop, aimed at fostering public-private collaborations and promoting innovative tourism solutions.
