Vijayawada: Former minister Yerneni Sita Devi passed away as she suffered cardiac arrest at her home in Hyderabad on Monday.
Hailing from Koduru of Kaikalur mandal in Krishna district, she was elected as an MLA twice from Mudinepalli and served as a minister for education in the cabinet of former CM N.T. Rama Rao. She also worked as the director of Vijaya Dairy.
Telugu Desam chief N. Chandrababu Naidu condoled her death, conveyed his grief to the bereaved family members, and wished her soul to rest in peace.
