Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has digitalised all Praja Palana (Abhayahastam) applications received in its jurisdiction and the Secunderabad Cantonment assembly constituency. The applications were accepted from December 28, 2023 to January 6.
According to records, the data related to 19,06,137 applications (18,62,539 received in the six zones of GHMC) have been uploaded in the state government’s official web portal.
Applications were accepted for various schemes, including Indiramma Indlu, Mahalakshmi, Gruha Jyothi and Cheyutha.
The highest number of applications were received in the Charminar zone (5,08,772), followed by Khairatabad (3,25,641) and Kukatpally (3,14,685). Secunderabad zone had 3,00,051 applications while there were 2,42,579 applications in LB Nagar and 1,70,811 in Serilingampally zone.
