Our Agitation will Continue Until Pradhan Resigns: CJP Founder Dipke
Dipke also said their protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on Saturday was largely successful, with around 7,000 people participating in it

Mumbai: A day after leading a protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar over alleged irregularities in the education system, Cockroach Janata Party founder Abhijeet Dipke on Sunday vowed to intensify his agitation if Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is not removed or does not resign within the next seven days.
Dipke reached Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar early Sunday morning, where he was welcomed by family members at his residence in the MIDC Waluj area. The police have stepped up security outside his residence. Dipke is expected to return to Delhi later in the week as a part of his agitation.
Speaking at his residence, Dipke stated that the agitation launched over the issues faced by youth at Jantar Mantar is receiving an overwhelming response and the protest will not cease until Dharmendra Pradhan resigns. “We are preparing the next steps and will soon announce a roadmap to expand the campaign beyond Delhi. We will soon come out with an action plan to take this agitation nationwide,” he said.
The activist said that incidents of question paper leaks have jeopardized the future of ten million students across the country. “Several NEET aspirants have died by suicide; one can only imagine the anguish their parents must be feeling. Who bears the responsibility for this? Following the NEET scandal, officials were merely transferred. Accountability must be fixed; therefore, we are demanding the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan, or else the Prime Minister himself must take responsibility,” he said.
“Yesterday, thousands of us made history. Our peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar showed the government a trailer of what cockroaches are capable of when we unite,” Dipke said in a post on X.
“Most people who joined us yesterday had never participated in a protest before. But they felt emboldened by our collective presence to express their sheer anger and frustration at the education system. Change cannot happen if we don’t make our voices heard,” he added.
“I want to thank each and every one of you who braved the hot summer sun, young kids and students included, and proved that a peaceful protest is our greatest strength. The government cannot touch a unified, peaceful movement. Us cockroaches don’t ever need to fear them,” Dipke said.
“But this doesn’t end here. Dharmendra Pradhan has wronged an entire generation. If he is not removed or does not step down within the next 7 days, we will be forced to continue our protest on the ground. I will address you all on an Instagram live later today. Stay tuned,” he added.
