Temper the Tantrums: Advice From the Stars for KTR
Hyderabad: Mind your language. This is something some of his party leaders who wished they could tell him but apparently have not had the courage to do so, but on Tuesday, BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao heard it at the Telangana Bhavan, and that too at a public event celebrating the start of Krodhi, the Telugu New Year.
The occasion was the Panchanga Sravanam by Praneeth Kumar at the BRS headquarters in Hyderabad.
Reading out the prospects for the new year for people who fall under different Vedic astrological signs, Praneeth Sharma, when he reached what the year ahead holds for Capricornians, said people of this sign should be cautious and have control on what they say.
Rama Rao, a Capricornian as per Vedic astrology, promptly reacted with a smile and a nod, even as the listing out of dos and donts continued. “When something is to be said, it should be done with gentleness and with control (over the language). This will help in gaining support and result in good returns,” Praneeth Sharma, who mentioned that Rama Rao falls under the sign he was speaking about, said.
“Anything that needs to be done, if done in a balanced way and with determination, will bring success,” the astrologer added.
On BRS president K. Chandrashekar Rao’s sign of Karkataka (cancer), Praneeth Kumar said the readings indicate that leaders born under this sign will have great support and will also be unstoppable. Politicians who fall under this sign will have good support, he said, adding a note of caution on the health and travel fronts for those under this sign.
For politicians gearing up for the Lok Sabha polls, the path ahead showed signs of close contests, with the ruling side having to work hard, and the opposition having chances of success if it works with determination.
The year could some natural disasters such as earthquakes in the eastern and northeastern parts of the country, landslides in lower Himalayan reaches such as in Uttarakhand, communal strife, flared tempers at the borders, and prospects of food shortages towards the middle of the year followed by price rise.
On the plus side, this year will see good rains resulting in a good agricultural year, and though the world might witness an economic recession, India would be spared of this, Praneeth Kumar predicted.
For those who cannot get away from their gadgets such as mobile phones, Praneeth Kumar had this to say: “There could be some impacts on technology this year, phones and gadgets may stop working for a while.”
Rama Rao, in a brief message at the end of the Panchanga Sravanam, greeted all the Telugus across the world and wished that the new year would usher in peace, prosperity, and fulfilment to all. "Today is not the time for politics," Rama Rao said, adding that "let this new year bring good rains and ensure good tidings for the agriculture sector and we should all have a year without any communal tensions."
The Ugadi celebrations at Telangana Bhavan were attended by several senior BRS leaders including former speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, former ministers Sabitha Indra Reddy, Ponnala Laxmaiah, several party legislators, and others.
