Vijayawada: Krishna District Election Officer and District Collector D.K. Balaji on Thursday advised the master trainers to ensure that all the staff members understand the Election Commission guidelines thoroughly ahead of the counting of votes on June 4.
A rehearsal of the votes counting was held at the Spandana Meeting Hall in the Collectorate here on Thursday. During the meeting the Collector explained the Election Commission guidelines on counting of votes to the master trainers.
Speaking after the meeting, the Collector said that all the necessary arrangements were made for the smooth conduct of the counting. Balaji instructed the officials to strictly adhere to the guidelines issued by the Election Commission while counting of votes at each and every table.
