Defeated Congress Candidate is Preparing Data to Meet TPCC Leaders
Adilabad:A defeated Congress party candidate for the parliament polls has been asked by the TPCC to reach Hyderabad and explain the gaps in the election campaign, the alleged non-cooperation of a few leaders and the other factors that contributed to her defeat in the Adilabad constituency.
Candidate Atram Suguna is preparing a file to submit it to the TPCC leaders about the factors including community-backlash that contributed to her defeat. She may meet Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and TPCC leaders in three days from now.
The party's high command is seeking a post mortem on the defeat of Congress party candidates in several Lok Sabha constituencies.
The high command wanted to know which all leaders failed to extend proper cooperation to various candidates of the Congress this time.
It is learnt that the TPCC would prioritise the leaders who worked hard for the party in giving party tickets for the upcoming local body elections.
It is said that the majority of the Congress party’s constituency incharges did not work seriously for the victory of the party. There allegedly was also a lack of coordination among the Congress leaders.
Congress leaders also allegedly failed to take up house to house campaign.
