Hyderabad: Former union minister Subramanian Swamy has on Tuesday lashed out at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for its not so good performance in the Lok Sabha polls.
The counting of votes of the Lok Sabha polls has stricken off the '400 paar' narrative of the BJP. As per the Election commission of India trends, the BJP is falling short of the majority mark by over 36 seats and might have to rely on its partners to form the government.
Attributing the BJP's poor show to Modi, Subramanian Swamy said that the saffron party is bearing the brunt of Modi's dictatorial mindset.
Claiming his estimate is close to the actual result, the Ph.D scholer opined that if the BJP had followed his suggestions then it would have secured 300 seats.
Meanwhile, the BJP cadres are celebrating NDA's victory in the General elections at the party's headquarter in Delhi.
