Ahmedabad: In a bizarre incident, a girl student from Gujarat scored 705 out of 720 in NEET exam results but failed in her board exams conducted by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Board (GSEB) exam.
The class 12 student failed in physics and chemistry but she scored 705 out of 720 in NEET exams resulting in more controversy to the NEET results. She secured 1,321st rank in India and 424th rank in the category. However, her result in NEET would not benefit her to secure a seat in any medical college due to her failure in the board exam in the State.
Responding to the incident, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) demanded a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) investigation into the matter while the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) staged a protest at Gujarat University in Ahmedabad.
