Kurnool: Girls with 93.34 per cent marks outshone boys who secured 89.35 per cent in the APICET, out of the 36,369 candidates who appeared for the exam on May 8 for admission into B.Tech second-year course
The results for AP were released at SK University, Anantapur, by K Hemachandra Reddy, chairman of the state Board of Higher Education, on Thursday. He said 44,447 persons appeared for test across the state, of whom 42,984 (96.71 per cent) qualified.
A Kranthi Kumar from NTR District secured the first rank with 176.81 marks while Gunnam Sai Karthik (East Godavari district) got the second rank, Surisetty Vasanta Lakshmi (Visakhapatnam) the third rank and Kadapana Ganesh Kumar Reddy (Anantapur) the fourth rank.
Samireddy Tharun Kumar bagged the fifth rank, S Dasaratharam Reddy (East Godavari) the sixth, Korlam Srikumar (Srikakulam) the seventh, Pucha Anupama (East Godavari) the eighth, Devanaboyana Venkatesh (Anantapur) the ninth and Dorai Muniseshadri Girish Sai (Chittoor) the tenth ranks.
