Group-I Services Prelims on June 9

Candidates must wear chappals only, no mehendi allowed

Hyderabad: The Telangana Public Service Commission on Thursday said the preliminary test for the Group-I Services will be conducted on June 9. The test will have objective type of questions and will be held from 10.30 am to 1 pm.

The TPSC said candidates will be allowed inside the examination centre from 9 am onwards. No candidate will be allowed inside the examination centre after 10 am.

Candidates can download hall tickets from 2 pm on June 1 from the Commission's website https://www.tspsc.gov.in till the commencement of the examination, according to Dr. E. Naveen Nicolas, Secretary, TPSC.

Candidates are not allowed to bring calculators, pagers, cellphones, tablets, pen drives, Bluetooth devices, watches, mathematical tables, log books, log tables, wallets, handbags, ‘jholas’, pouches, writing pads, notes, charts, loose sheets, jewellery or any other gadgets/electronic gadgets or recording instruments strapped on their body or pockets. Possession of these items will lead to invalidation of candidature for the examination and examinations.

Candidates will have to wear only chappal and not shoes. They are advised not to have mehendi, temporary tattoos or any obstructive material covers on their fingers which may hamper the recording of biometrics.

They should not leave the examination hall until the completion of examination time. Before leaving the examination hall, the candidate should hand over the OMR answer sheet to the invigilator.

Candidates are informed that the capture of biometrics of the candidates by biometric invigilators would start from 9.30 am in the examination hall and no candidate should leave the exam hall until his/her biometrics are captured by the biometric invigilator.
