In a shocking incident, a doctor found a human finger in an ice cream cone that his sister had ordered online on Wednesday.
The women ordered ice cream from the ‘Yummo ice cream company’ along with other groceries on the grocery delivery app, Zepto. The incident took place in the Malad area of Mumbai.
Orlem Brendan Serrao, 27, doctor, had half eaten his ice cream when he felt something wrong on his tongue. As he took a closer look, he found a human finger inside it, according to a report by Free Press Journal.
Serrao’s sister reported the incident to the police right away. Upon investigating, the police said that there was a human finger in the ice cream.
Police have registered a case against the Yummo ice cream company and sent the ice cream for investigation. They have sent the human finger found in the ice cream to FSL (Forensic).
The police said that a search would also take place at the location where the ice cream was manufactured and packaged. “We have taken it up seriously,” the police officially added.
