Hyderabad: Act Against Colleges Taking Donation, BJYM Urges TSCHE

Hyderabad: The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) urged the Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) chairman Prof. R. Limbadri to take stringent action against private engineering colleges that are collecting a large amount of money as donation for admission. A BJYM leaders led by its state president S. Mahender submitted a memorandum to Prof. Limbadri at his office to this effect.

They urged the government to see that the spot admissions and ‘sliding’ of courses by the students took place in a transparent manner. The demand for donations was affecting poor students from the rural areas.

Mahender demanded that the government to take up the appointment of Vice Chancellors for state universities by following all the conditions and based on the merit list. The BJYM would take up a protest if the government made political appointments and violated the guidelinesm he said.

BJYM headquarters in-charge vice-presidents Namani Mahesh, Yogi, Santosh, Sandeep, Chiiarajan, Tarun Reddy and state secretary Praveen, training cell in-charge Sudheendra Sharma, Arwind, Govind Reddy and others were part of the delegation.
