Hyderabad: Several flights between Hyderabad and Delhi were cancelled on Friday after a portion of the roof at Delhi airport’s Terminal 1 collapsed.
Among those cancelled were four Indigo airline flights from Hyderabad to Delhi.
Responding to a tweet on providing Rs 20 lakh compensation to a taxi driver who died in the roof collapse, netizens fumed at the authorities stating that on each passenger who travels through the airport the authorities collect hefty sums in the name of insurance. “This is what they offer when such an untoward incident occurs,” a netizen said.( Source : Deccan Chronicle )
