Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao began his new year by sharing a meal with sanitation workers and celebrated the day alongside them.
Speaking on the occasion, Rao reminded them that keeping up with their promise of improving their lot, the BRS government had brought about a three-fold wage increase for sanitation workers.
The former municipal minister acknowledged the vital role of sanitation workers in maintaining cleanliness of towns and villages and emphasized that the salary raise was aimed at improving their living standards. He assured them of the BRS party’s continued support and pledged to work diligently to address their concerns.
Thanking him for his gesture, many of the workers took selfies with him.
