Mahbubabad: By increasing various sources of income, the officials in coordination with the employees must strive hard to strengthen the Road Transport Corporation (RTC), said TSRTC MD V.C. Sajjanar during his visit to Mahbubabad district on Friday.
After inspecting the RTC bus depot, Sajjanar inquired from the officials about the number of buses running from the depot and to which regions. He also inquired about the details of profits and loss the depot was facing.
Speaking on the occasion, Sajjanar said that the corporation gives primary importance to its employees and will always look after their welfare. Drivers, conductors and other RTC staff must work with full sincerity to strengthen the corporation and make it earn huge profits.
The MD also felicitated two drivers B.Gopal and Sudhakar who had run the bus services successfully saving fuel and handed over mementos to them.
Earlier, district collector K. Shashankar, additional SP Yogesh Goutham and MLA Shankar Naik welcomed the TSRTC MD during his visit to the district. RTC regional manager Sridevi and depot manager B. Srinivas were among those present on the occasion.
